Raymond Robert Glew, 8th<\/sup> Grade Class of 1958<\/strong><\/p>\n Memory:<\/strong> We received the finest public-school education. It is a shame it had to end. We succeeded as adults because of the teachers’ excellence, the level of expectation by the teachers, and the support of our parents.<\/p>\n Taking the 5th<\/sup>, 6th<\/sup>, 7th<\/sup>, and 8th<\/sup> graders to Red Raider Camp for a week, Bratenahl School’s initiation into outdoor education. In 1956 several of us chose to go to downtown Cleveland to hear Dwight Eisenhower speak after being told not to go.
