Maynard\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>Henry Maynard Rees was born in Cleveland on November 17, 1890, the son of William and Cornelia Rees. He graduated from Yale University in 1913. His education at Harvard Medical School was interrupted by his enlistment in the U. S. Army during World War I.<\/p>\n<p>Henry married Eliza Pugsley McKeehan on September 18, 1920. Eliza was a graduate of Laurel School, afterward attending school at Dobbs Ferry, New York, for three years. They returned to the Boston area for Henry to complete medical school.<\/p>\n<p>Henry and Eliza had a son, William, who was born on April 3, 1922. He graduated from the Culver Military Academy in June 1941 and afterward was a student at Cornell University. He was employed in Baltimore, Maryland, as a shipping and receiving clerk and single without dependents when he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on March 17, 1842.<\/p>\n<p>William became a 2nd Lieutenant in the 36th Bomber Squadron, 482 Bomber Group. Just one month shy of his 22nd birthday, the Air Corps declared him \u201cMissing in Action\u201d when his B-24 crashed on March 3, 1944, at Humberrcourt, France. William Rees earned the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.<\/p>\n<p>Henry died on January 18, 1971, in Boston.
