H. Fox (widower) on June 16, 1899.<\/p>\n<p>Eliza Hawgood acquired the property from Emily Franklin, widow of Benjamin Franklin, on January 20, 1908, and built a home designed by architect Frank D. Skeel.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/richard-grant\/\">Richard <\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/richard-grant\/\">and<\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/richard-grant\/\"> Elsie Grant<\/a><\/strong> acquired the property from Harry Hawgood and Helen Hawgood (unmarried), heirs to Eliza Hawgood, on August 10, 1911.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/henry-dalton\/\">Henry Dalton<\/a><\/strong> acquired the home from the Grants on September 15, 1928. Dalton razed the home and added the property to his at 12611 Lake Shore Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to imagine that a house actually existed between 12521 and 12611 Lake Shore Boulevard.
