Haldeman Allotment\n\t<\/h5>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/10211-LSB-Britton.jpg\" alt=\"10211 Lake Shore Boulevard\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"655\" width=\"1057\" title=\"10211 LSB Britton\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t10211 Lake Shore Boulevard\n\t<p><strong>Susie Pentland<\/strong> acquired the property from Levi Haldeman on November 27, 1891.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/charles-britton\/\"><strong>Charles<\/strong> and <strong>Ann Britton<\/strong><\/a> purchased the property on June 29, 1899, and built a green shingled Greek Revival summer retreat in 1912. Their primary residence was on Prospect Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>The 6,000 square-foot home with white Grecian columns adorning the expansive porch sat on a little over one acre. The house featured five bedrooms and three and one-half bathrooms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dornback Realty<\/strong> acquired the home from the estate of Ann Britton on March 24, 1961.<\/p>\n<p><strong>George<\/strong> and<strong> Sandra Coghill<\/strong> acquired the home from Dornback Realty on August 12, 1976.<\/p>\n<p><strong>George Coghill<\/strong> acquired the home from his wife Sandra Goghill by quitclaim deed on February 24, 1984, after she left the home in 1984 and moved to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/13301-lake-shore\/\">13301 Lake Shore Boulevard<\/a><\/strong>. George&#8217;s daughter Shana and two sons George and Greg continued to live in the home. George lived in the home until 2013 when he moved to Fort Myers, Florida.<\/p>\n\t<p><strong>10211 Bratenahl LLC<\/strong> acquired the manor home on May 8, 2015<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cavalier Capital Holdings LLC<\/strong> (Benjamin Mackovak) acquired the home on October 10, 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benjamin Mackovak<\/strong> and <strong>Catherine Banton<\/strong> acquired the home on October 9, 2018. \u00a0The home was razed in 2018 in order to build a new home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MB Builders Inc.<\/strong> acquired the property on December 31, 2018.<\/p>\n\t<p>10217 Lake Shore Boulevard<\/p>\n<p>The barn on the Britton property was remodeled into a home until 1975 when it burned to the ground. The blaze gutted the interior including artworks and first edition along with all furnishings belonging to Mr. and Mrs. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/barclay-leathem\/\">Barclay Leathem<\/a><\/strong>. The Leathems moved to Clearwater, Florida.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/places\/\" target=\"_self\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBack to Places\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/bratenahlhistorical.org\/index.php\/homes-past-list\/\" target=\"_self\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHomes Past List\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Places Homes Past 10211 Lake Shore Boulevard Plat No. 631-03-003 Sublot 12 in the L.
